Estimated RWHP- FD

Hey my cars in the middle of getting alot of stuff done to it and i want to know what kind of power i will be at when its complete, all help is appreciate. My mods when the car is done are: pettit intakes, pettit downpipe, pettit midpipe, catback, pettit pulley kit, koyo n-flow radiatior, walbro fuel pump, greddy fmic, greddy elbow, non-sequential, 8bl flywheel and a power fc + commander. The car will be getting dyno tuned shortly after it is complete. Thx for the help - Eric

Power is boost dependent, so what boost levels do you plan on running? At 10 PSI, you'll probably be around 270rwhp with good tuning.

Then you have your estimate. Keep in mind that a completely stock FD will dyno around 220-225rwhp at 10 PSI. So if you are able to get around 270rwhp at 10 PSI then that is a very good increase in power.

If lets say i do get one (highly considering it) and boost at 14psi what would i be looking at? AWD-RWD Racer made 324 with sequential, technically shouldn't i make more?

Why would you technically make any more? At those boost levels, the sequential system isn't a restriction.

It will come down to tuning. You could be anywhere from 320-340rwhp depending on the tuning (and how well the car is running overall).

If you can provide the fuel for 14psi, then you should make something near what AWD-RWD Racer made. Non-sequential doesn't make more power than Sequential.

Isn't the Power FC a boost controller for stock twins?

The PFC can control boost in the same manner as the stock ECU. So it's not ideal, an EBC is still a better mouse trap.

^the only difference between non-seq and seq. is that if done totally, where you remove the valves/flappers, and not the poor mans way, wired open, then it might flow a little bit more air, but not much. In all reality you have a poor mans non-seq car after transition until you drop back below 3000rpms.

At higher power levels (above 370rwhp), the sequential system becomes a hindrance. However below that, it's not a problem.

^agreed

I love my sequental for street purposes, but I have actually set my transition from 2 to 1 down to about 2400 rpms, via dataloggit. Because coming out of a corner on track, if you haven't downshifted or downshifted right, and trying to control the throttle during transition so the 50+hp sudden kick, does not make for a fun day.
