Engine maybe flooded, can you confirm?
I don’t know if anyone can shot this off hip, but here is my situation. BTW, it is a FD with a single conversion. Get into my car to start it up, starts for a few seconds and cuts off. Try again and I get nothing. All electronics still work. I get out and check everything and my MAP sensor came loose so I tightened it up. I get back into the car and turn the key, it starts but hesitates. Then after about a second off the ignition switch, it stalls out. It feels like there is about a one second throttle response delay also when I tired to give it some gas to try and keep it from stalling. I was wondering if my engine could just be flooded from the false start or is there something else wrong. I have never flooded an engine before, so I don’t really know what to look for. I have fuel pressure and all power. My ignition box is one, but I can get it to start turning over, so I figured that wouldn’t be the problem. Any advice would help. Thanks.
