engine computer question
Hi...
How important are the bottom numbers ID?
for example...
if I need to buy a ECU
Part # N351 18881
9707979-225-12V
because i am getting conflicting reports...
One person said all the numbers have to match...
while another says only top 2 numbers need to match...
Thanks

you only need the n350 part to match. the mazda part number is n350-18-880 (or 881) every ecu is 18-881 (or 880) so you only need to match the first 4. the bottom number should be the nippon denso number, but it does not "mean" anything, you can't look it up
