engine building question

ok i have a couple of question.

i have a spare S5 N/A engine that im planning to turbo it as a project. is gonna be street driven but with autoX and some big tracks in mind. is not gonna be ported but im gonna lower the compression from 9.7 to 9.0 to1 and im gonna get a BNR stage 2 turbo maibe a stage 3. and im gonna do the engine with atkins apex seals and all FD parts and seals. now eccentric shaft, i was looking at mazdatrix and the rx8 eshaft is lighter (.6 lbs) and cheaper (by almost $200) that the rx7. i wanna know if anybody have change the eshaft for a rx8 one yet and if theres any good result? and if ill be able to use all the FC front pieces like the neddle bearings and the gear for the CAS and such. and if theres any difference betwen the FC 9.0 compression rotors compare to the FD 9.0 compression rotor?

thanks

eddie

rx-8 eccentric shaft

I myself would also like to know if its really worth buying an rx-8 eccentric shaft. I just got up a decent amount of money and going to start my rebuild soon and might buy this also if its worth it.
