ecentric pully setup
I received a engine without the ecentric pullys and need to determine where the timing marks go in relation to the eccentric shaft. Then install the distributor. Thanks

yes the keyway pulley is on the engine and I have tried all four positions on the belt pulley reseting the distributator each time but the engine hasn't fired. Suggestions?

The main shaft pulley can only be mounted one way because the holes are not in a square pattern. The 4th bolt will not go in any other way.
I first set the shaft at TDC by spotting the apex in the exhaust port, then backing it up to the center of the housing.
Then I line up the CAS mark and stab it in.
Then to check it I turn the shaft to the timing mark, take off the CAS cover, and see if the star wheel lines up with the reluctance head.

I should have done that when the reactor was off but now the engine is in the car. The 12A belt pulleys will go on in all four positions so what I need is to find TDC on the key way pulley the belt pulleys bolt to.
