E-Shaft usable?

I just started rebuilding my s5 n/a motor due to a coolant seal failure and noticed discoloration on the E-Shaft on the side of both journals and a rotor bearing with copper showing on the same rotor as the coolant seal failure. The surface that the bearing rides seems fine but the side is discolored.

Discolouration on the side is fairly normal. But I agree, PICTURES are needed.

those are normal colorations due to the heat treatment process.
