More food for thought. going way back to the propane ideas. Seeing anything we would be able to produce here is kinda half asses in a sense. The idea of starting with coverting to a propane / gasoline mix, then taking that setup and going to a pure propane setup. Tow motors like the one at my work run completely off propane. its only a two cyclinder, and weights 11200 lbs but still moves pretty good and has decent consumtion. Then once the 100% propane conversion is working, take the BIG leep into the H2 realm.

Odds are going from propane to H2 youll have to do some redesigning of the where and when the gas is injected. The pressure needed will be MUCH greater than propane, so oddsa are the entire fuel delievery system will need some redesign and strengthing.

Anyway, i think that doing the propane gasoline conversion might be the best place to start at. Mostly because it works, and we know it works. Using it on EFI leaves for some figureing but i have ideas to work around that. Think of using a Direct injecty nitrous setup. This would be the same idea. And knowing me, i will use some similiar components to get the job done. Right now i have a load of work and educational requirement i have to meet. On top of a social life, two RX7 project cars and all that sleeping in between. So the resources for me to do much more than calcuate and research arent there. But hopefully by summer i might have an idea for the propane gasoline RE going into effect.

The problem with introducing a gaseous fuel is that it has to be highly pressurized to carry it. If you introduce it into the intake it will displace the incoming air and therefore the ideal mixture would not be met. You really need to talk to a local RV shop as they would have the access to propane conversion parts. I'm sure there is a system available that would allow for metered injection of the propane via efi style ports.

Moving over to the H2 conversion you would have to relocate the injectors beyond the point where the intake closes. Again requiring high pressure to be able to force the gas into the chamber.

I will look through my saved pages and get back to you... it seems to me that there was a cobra that had H2 injection setup.

Like i said, i emailed them 6 months ago and still no word. I'll find someone else to work with. I'm not a fan of shitty customer service.

Pressure wise, I don't think that's something you're going to have to worry about when it comes to Hydrogen
