Crank Position sensors
OK here is the deal. I am installing a new engine in my car / 94 RX ....the thing is in and fired up but is smoking like hell and is running RUFF. The smoke smells like gas. I think the timing is off. When I disassembled I labeled everything but the two electrical connections that go to the crank position sensors. Does anyone know if the white plug is on the top sensor or the gray.

this happened to me as well, except after I was getting a check engine light code of 3(crank sensor "G"). will test it soon. Do I need to set the timing , I thought that the computer took care of timing?
