Confused about pulsation dampner

I here about people removing it but here is a link to an incredible drawing of a parallel fuel rail set up. My question goes to why there is no dampner? do these lines absorb the shock?

The SX Engineering FPR explicitly states there is no need for one.
If you want to add one, you have that option to do so.
Any FPR is a PD with a bleed on it - same smell.
