how much should this cost? i have a place telling me $200

umm.. sorry dude but who ever said that is probably tryin to jack you for your money.. all you need is a tester.. which oyu can pick up. from a automotive store.. costs 20 -50 bux.. and about 5 munites of your time.. do yourself a favor and diy.. just an advise.. peace..

Well, doing it at home is ok, but at the daelership, they have the $1000 Mazda tool used to get exact compression ratings. Not a bad idea when buying a car, but just for in the driveway, just get a good ol gauge from Napa for $45 and have at it.
