clearence question for engine builders

Im building a 12a from 2 donor motors. im using R5 plates and an S3 rotating assembly. both my rotor housings are in good condition, w/ very minor flaking(can barely see) and have a width variation of .0015" and .0012", which is well within spec according to my FSM. After measuring the rotor widths(on the gear) and measuring their clearence to the housings, the best matched combo gave me .0070" and .0067" of clearence. this, according to the manual is right on the edge of max. tolerances(.0071"). could any problems arise from being so close to these tolerences?or could this possably make for a looser rev happy motor?any building advise will be very apreciated. thx. Dan
