i just put my 84 motor into my good first gen body and the car will not idel, once i take the choke out the car dies after the rpm's drop and the idel adjust screw dosent do anything. any sagestions? i would be very happy if i could get this car running befor the 18 cause i get my licens back and i want to drift haha kind how i lost it but oh well lol.

 

sounds like you have a vaccum leak somewhere. I have the same problem with my 87 t2 and its a real pain in the *** to remove the uper intake mainifold and trace all the hoses everytime it stops ideling. so like check all your lines.
