Not unless you are HARD UP for money and cant afford another used one for a hundred or 2. Using a flat razor blade be sure that there are no high spots, grind or sand them down if so. Since compression is a moot point in that area of the engine, the impact would be minimal so long as none of the scratch interferes with the seal or wears into it.

But no, I'd never use it.

im assuming you're asking where the compression area is, because there are no pictures of it above. But basically the compression area is at the top of the housing moving down towards the spark plug side, if there is no scratching or flaking on that part, then the motor should be able to still run very well. Although im going to agree with everybody else and say i wouldn't use that housing in a rebuild

i can use na housings right? the only differants is the defuser in the exhaust port, is that right. also does it matter about the stamp for R and F, can i use them in any figure?
