can too much pre mix cause a bad misfire?
Just got done rebuilding and installing my engine. I fired it up, it started just fine, ran smooth. I turned it off to check for leaks. I then fixed an oil leak. I Started it up again and turned it off. Checked again for oil leaks. Made sure the coolant was ok. I went ahead and gave the gas 4 oz of 2 stroke. I am also running the OMP
I thought I had a full tank of gas, but It could have been less, my gauge is broken. For all I know it could have been near empty. I did a few other things and tried to start it again. This time it was really hard, it sputtered and I had to hold it half throttle to get it to start going on its own power, but it was a really bad misfire.
I checked the plugs, they seemed fine, and I also get plenty of spark. Could the pre-mix have screwed me up?
