Unhappy Brake Rotor Removal

I can't get rotors off my son's car. They are really wedged on there. I've tried making a puller but I couldn't get it to line up right. Tried heating them and banging with a mallet. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

I had to cut one off once. It was well married to the front hub.

Best way to do it is to run bolts into the two threaded holes bored into the rotor face. Run the bolts in against the hub and they will press the rotor off.

Stupid question...are you sure you removed the phillips head screws that hold the rotors on to the hubs?

LOL, yes I did the screws. Good idea about running the bolts against the hub. I'll give that a try. Thanks.

Squirt some P B Blaster in behind the rotor so it seeps in between the rotor and hub, let it soak overnight. With a steel faced hammer, tap around the rotor face that sits flush on the hub, not the brake pad area. If that doesn't loosen it, try some heat.
