Bov lead

I have an smax sw300 bov and all of the sudden it releases boost pressure while im still on throttle and doesnt really release anything when i get off the throttle. the company said a boost line is suppose to be connected to the nipple on top of the bow and from what i know i have the vacuum line connected. i am not even sure where this boost line is suppose to run from. i still get the 7 lbs of boost its set for but it used to gradually reach 10 lbs but now it wont go ever 7. if anybody can help me out with this i would greatly appreciate it.

Your source should be able to see vacuum and boost (i.e. like from the upper manifold). Does your current source see both?

Doesn't help much at all. It looks like you are T'ing that line. One side goes to the vacuum/boost source, the other side goes to the BOV, what does the 3rd one go to?

one goes to the manifold, one goes to the bov, the other splits off into two that lead to a pressure sensor and some sort of solenoid

Alright, I run the same BOV, as they are one of my sponsors. First thing, is make sure they gave you the HARD spring. With the hard spring in place, make sure you tighten the adjustment screw, so it won't leak. Third, grab your vacuum/boost source from the top nipple on the front of the intake manifold (facing the front bumper).

When you call about the spring, tell Tony or Dave that Justin from Drift Brigade told you about the spring and to give them a call.

Oh, hey, what's up, man?

Route the vacuum line to the top nipple on the front of the UIM like I said and see how that works for you.

sorry for being a dumbass but i know realize that uim stands for upper intake manifold, i just am not understanding what you mean when you say route the vaccum/boost line to the uim like i said the line t's from the intake manifold, the bov, and then the third line splits into the pressure sensor and that solenoid ill post a pic of what i mean

i checked that out and i have three hoses running from there to somewhere i couldnt see. i asked a friend about it and he said it sounded like a wastegate problem so i put a vacuum pump on it and sure enough the rod didnt move at all meaning my wastegate is basically shot. do you know of anyplace that sells the stock or maybe rebuilt one i cant find anyplace that sells that stock internal everybody sells performance external and im not really on planning on doing power upgrades just yet i wanna to the suspension first

Just find somebody with a used/blown turbo and swap the wastegate actuator.

wait, you used a vacuum pump to test it?? I hope that "vacuum pump" can make pressure as well. the wastegate actuator works when pressure is applied. I hope you know that.
