Boosting
I've heard some people say "Don't boost until you've put enough break in miles on your engine." However, no one has really explained why this is bad. I can think of quite a few things that would make sense as to why boost would be bad, but those are just thoughts. If it's just because the mileage on the new motor isn't high enough, then what mileage is needed before you can boost? There's probably a post about this but all I've found so far are general posts about boosting.
1000 miles of getting the motor hot and cold, like driving it back and forth to work every day for a 1000 miles.Unless the apex seals are being reused, then I would say 200-500 mile break in.It lets all the springs and o-rings seat better in there grooves.
