Boost Spikes HELP
I have a 1993 FD, with F-Con, FCD, Gen.1 Apexi AVC-R (not plug in), A/F ratio gauage, boost gauage, RE Amemiya intake, PFS downpipe, midpipe, Tanabe G-power cat back. The first time I can really pay attention to the boost meter was on the dyno, the boost slowly raise to 10psi then to 12 and a sudden spike to 14 and then abit higher still then slowly drop to 12psi. I set my FCD to 7 is that enough? Also if I do plug in the AVC-R and set it up will this help decreasing the boost spike? I don't plan to have the car run higher than 13psi (0.9bar) on races and 10.9psi (0.75 bar) on normal driving. Or do I still should replace the stock restriction pill and if so how will that affect when the ACV-R is running, and what size of the pill should I use?
Thank you for your help. My dyno chart is avalible for download to provide solutions. Thank you again.https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...&postid=493951
