Unhappy bone dry

what is the normal oil pressure for a 86 gxl? in gear going and idle? my car bioild over now i'm worried when this happend i let it cool added coolant and chaecked my oil i chack almost every day but this time it was bone dry!? i added 2 quarts of oil still bone dry.....as far as i know my car not making any new/strange noise.... i know there is oil in there but why doesnt it show...could this be the oil pump? plz help my poor rotary

oh yeh and i cant see any kind of smoke/exhaust or nothing at all drips from my car... oh and on the gas oil pressure gets up a lil past 60

Find out where the oil is going. If you're adding multiple quarts and not seeing anything, you have issues. Don't drive it until you figure out what's going on - running low on oil will kill an engine in short order.

Are you sure there's no huge puddles in the driveway, or something?

yeh i'm sure running or off and cold it doesent drip anything and i still have oil pressure

hmm, my oil pressure is about 35 at idle and 90 when the gear is engaged?

You aren't burning it up at all? My advice is to drain your existing oil and refill it. Let it sit overnight and check it in the morning. Do you see any oil buildup near your oil pan or elsewhere? Are you still driving it in this condition?
