blown side seal or oil rings???

my engine has 60psi. of compression on the front rotor when i take out the spark plugs oil comes out i may have blown a side seal or oil ring, i have decided to open it , can i replace whats broken or do i have to use all brand new seals ect. and gaskets???

i guess the simple answer is yes, but the key will be assessing the parts of the motor once you have it apart and then making a decision. the concept that you may want to become intimate with is the saving a dollar today can lead to spending one hundred dollars tomorrow.

dont get it?

but anyways the engine was still in brake-in after a rebuild, but i was driving and a oil line blew and the engine got some damage.
