bellhousing swap, s5 on s6 trans push to pull

heres my ? will i be able to put a t2 bellhousing on my fd tranny to convert it from pull to push allowing me to use an fc push type clutch. im pretty sure the bolt up to the gear box is the same and obviously to the engine is the same but my question is is it the same length to those points on both, as well is the input shaft a different length than the fc to the fd or the same.
now the reason i ask this is because i got into doing a swap in a 88gtu but my buddy is already ***** deep in his and is looking to get rid of his fd project chassie (spelling). and i really wanted the fd instead anyway but i already purchased an exedy twin plate clutch/flywheel setup now being this is the most expensive part that i have purchased for the fc so far and it will pretty much hold anyhting i throw at it i would still like to use it, now if this way shoots me down im going to also try and contact excedy to see if i can just swap the pressureplates to change to pull type for the fd.
please anyhelp at all
thanks
z

No, the FD trans input shaft is shorter.
