low vacuum that oscillates regularly, shaking motor, exhaust note sounds like a lawnmower. Usually happens after a redline 3rd gear pull with too much boost in my experience

Yup, bad coolant seal. Did you ever run the car hot? I do ports and rebuilds out of a garage in Clifton NJ, PM me if you're interested in some pricing.

is that when you're engaging first gear? if so, it's probably bad mounts (engine, tranny or both). if you had a bad apex seal, the car would idle different (at the least) and you would have noticed a marked decrease in power.

Check your TPS and if that dosn't fix it. You may have a vacum leak.

TPS???? I'm not sure what that is but if you know where i can find it on the car, i can use all data to pin point where exactly where it is. What does tps stand for? thanks.

It's located on the rear section of the throttle body near the firewall. If you have a power fc and commander you can check the voltage to see if it's out of spec and if so, adjust it until it's within spec.

how do you check with the power fc to see if the voltage is out of spec?

It's tough to remember w/out a commander in front of me, but I believe it's under the 'etc' menus, listed as 'sensor/sw check.' You can check the voltages across many sensors, including the OMP and TPS. If it's out of spec, it will be highlighted. If you have deleted your secondary fuel rail (ie running top feed 1680cc injs) then you'll see your fuel temp sensor highlighted b/c it's no longer on the car.
