Flame Throwing...

All you really need is a full exhaust (CB, MP, DP) and to be running rich, and you should see some nice flamage.

Yup, full exhaust. All I do is stick her in nuetral, rev to the rev limiter, and boom 5foot flame.

Ill tell you what the old school lowriders use to do.
parts youll need-
1- any hot type spark plug
2- any old coil standard type
3- inline fuse
4- togle switch 12v
5- momentary switch 12v
6- a roll of cheep speaker wire

Its pretty cool set up acually, heres how it works every time you shift it will ignite the plug and throw a flame.
How to wire it? in this order-
Power-fuse-mometary switch to coil pos. Coil neg to ground-coil wire to plug-plug to exuast pipe after muffler.

NOTE: i have never tried this on my car but have seen it done on
others.

Allmost forgot the momentary switch goes to the clutch arm at top position.

I don't really bounce the rev limiter, I just get close to it and fiddle w/ the gas paddle a bit. The whole key is to just get a little extra gas into the exhaust so that the heat will ignite it and spark out the exhaust.

With the DP, MP and Catback.... what would be the best thing to inrich the fuel. I know the Apexi PFC is what I should go for but could I get something not so expensive? I'm not trying to play with the boost or anything for now, I just want to make it reliable.

i dont know if i shoot flames every time i hear a big backfire, but i guess i do at least half of the time, b/c people look at me funny and sometimes try to tell me stuff at red lights. i noticed that in 3rd gear holding at about 5k rpms, and letting off the gas, huge sound and about 4-5 pops. same in 2nd at about 6.5k. i guess theyare flames.
i have only seen one of mine in my rearview when racing a bmw m-coupe at night. he got off at the next exit.

When I first dialed in my stand alone FI on my N/A sport, I upped the trailing throttle pulse width a bit.. Soo only at higher RPM it was rich off throttle... IT WAS GREAT!
SOmewhere in Orlando there are a car load of guys with video tape of around 6-8 RX-7s doing 80-100 down the interstate.. and everytime I would let off the throttle a little, at above 5K it would shoot two blue flames about 3 feet out each pipe.
Then on real high RPM deceleration it would just do the big POP POP POP and 6-8 foot yellow ones would jet out as I decelerated from 7K+ down through 5K...
