Any one run the older taller oil filter from the 70's?

Any one run the older taller oil filter from the 70's?

I use to do this all the time on my 12A cars.

I was looking at my TII and it looks like it will clear the intercooler.

Just curious. Its twice as tall, so I am assuming double the filter

i usually run the bigger filter, it does clear on the t2

MOST of the bigger filters have more filter in there, but there are a couple of gotcha's

for instance the small japanese made mazda filter has about 8x the filter of a giant fram.

so if you cut open a few filters, you'll be laughing at fram, cause theres next to nothing in there, and looking for the tall japanese made mazda filter

cost depending on what kinda deal you get, but mazda list is like $8, fram cant e much less

I usually use Wix or Puralator, but the Fram is available off the shelf..
