Any Ideas
the car had been sittin for about 2 year and we just got the parts it need which was a alternater and a starter we but those on with a new battery and the engine wouldnt turn over so we took off the fan and tryed to turn by hand and it worked for half a turn or so the we went to start it again and nothing like it seized up what can i do to fix that or to free it up?
If its locked up that tight, i doubt it would be carbon build-up.
I would take all the belts off and try to turn the engine again, maybe it could have been wp, sp...or something getting locked up....just a thought.
But this happened to my buddies 2nd gen, he went into the mini mart came out and car wouldnt start. The motor got locked up, it ended up being an apex seal gave out and fell out and locked the motor.
I dont want to scare you, but that was my experience.
Good luck
BTW you know how many miles??

Try turning it backwards, don't force it. If it feels like you run into something when it stops, the motor may have spit an apex seal. If it comes to a slow stop, the seals may be stuck from carbon buildup and sitting. Try the ATF or Seafoam.
ATF disolves carbon very well.
You usually pour alittle in the sparkplug hole, or an vacuum line going into the intake. When you do this, u should turn the motor to get it on all the surfaces. Since you cant turn the motor, i doubt its going to help.
Like i said if its LOCKED, like you push hard and nothing, there alot more trouble there.
