Alternator problems

Hey guys i own a 91 Rx-7 Savanah(jdm) , and im having problems with my alternator belt, i know it sounds like a stupid lil problem,
but when i got my car about 4 months ago, it had the origonal belt to the best of my knowledge and it snapped about 2 months ago, mabe month and a half, and since then ive been having troubles, my belt hasnt lasted more than 3 days roughly since, ive gone through 5 belts now and im gettin really ticked at it,
Im not Over tightening, my pullys are all in line with each other, and all the belts that snap have a wear along one side of it, the belt is a pretty clean snap too, so im wondering, does the North american belt and JDM belt differ?
ive been gettin my belts from Lord Co, unfortunatly where i live their isnt many shops that sell anything high end, id have to order it all in, which i have no problem with, but i just wanna make sure i have the right thing when i order it.

thanks for any help.

It sounds like one of your pulleys is skewed, causing the belt to slight to one side and wear out prematurely.

Even if there was a difference between Jdm and other markets, which there isn't, the belt would wear on both sides, not one. If you're checking pulley alignment with the belts off, it may change once the belts are tightened up due to a worn bearing or vise versa.

You might try ordering a different brand of belt. Is Lord Co. the seller or manufacturer?
