air/induction questions......

hi there, i am in the middle of fitting a RX7 13b injection engine into a different car and have found the unduction system to be awkward in placement. Basically, i need a flage from the throttle butterfly going the other direction from the stock 13b one so i can modify the air flow meter in order for it to sit horizontally. I notice that the turbo RX7s induction system is on the other side of the engine bay, thus the first 90 degree angle would be suitable. Can anybody tell me if its possible to use one 90 degree fitting on the 13b engine? If so it would solve a lot of problems.

Cheers guys

Steve

Getting rid of the upper intake pieces would be so much easier. Have you considered a sidedraft carb? It would eliminate the need for the AFM and give you 4-5 inches of hood clearance.

the whole reason i went for this engine was because it is fuel injection. It runs beutifully, its just a case of finishing it off now...
