FL ae101 Rotary Swap Possibilities

Anyone heard of swapping a 12a or 13b in a corolla ae101 with the fwd adapter on the tranny? Thoughts?

anything is possible. i haven't seen a rotary AE101 so far, but i have seen 2 rotary Civics over the years, so like i said, anything is possible. it will probably come down to a game of how-do-i-make-this-fit for just about everything. for example, you will probably be on your own as far as mating the engine to a transaxle is concerned.

if you have the resources and the drive to see it all through, then i suppose you should go for it. however, if either of those things is lacking, then you'll probably be better served sticking to a 20V-, 3SGTE or 2ZZ- swap and calling it a day.

Factory components arent making it past 200whp.

In all my swap considerations I'm looking for ~300whp. What exactly is the "S2" engine? I am familiar with the fc na/turbo engines, is the S2 an engine or chassis generation code? Are all fc engines S2? Googling revealed little result, not super sure what to google.....
for an Rx8? the Rx8 is 2004-2008, usually called series 1, and 2009-2011, series 2. the late engine has a LOT of stuff that is different from the previous engines. its better, but also more complex
