just be aware man, this type of question you will get alot of mixed feelings and opinions.

yeah a lot of guys have done SR20 swap..

to me imo, sr20 in a 240sx is a better canidate since the s13/s14 has alot easier rear suspension to work on and adjust.

Sure, it's possible but you're going to have to do everything yourself.
The American V-8 conversion is popular because it's been done so often that kits are available and there's a ton of info about the components and wiring mods needed.

A diesel conversion is going to be pretty much uncharted territory, so all the fabrication and detailing will be "figure as you go".

You also get 30mpg with the LSX motors if tuned right.

Why diesel? Torque, or just to be different? The only problem I would forsee is the oil pan size. Diesels have huge oil pans, wouldnt be much ground clearance.

It totally depends on what diesel motor your looking to swap it. The bigger ones that come in trucks most likely wont fit without extraordinary amounts of fabrication like redesigning the front suspension and steering setup. If your talking about a smaller diesel then it probably wouldn't be that difficult.

Either way, I'd love to see that completed.

Yeah, partially to be different. I wanna take on a project to run a biodiesel. So like a vw or audi td, or one from a merc. Something that'll still give me some performance.
