ae101 Rotary Swap Possibilities
Anyone heard of swapping a 12a or 13b in a corolla ae101 with the fwd adapter on the tranny? Thoughts?

anything is possible. i haven't seen a rotary AE101 so far, but i have seen 2 rotary Civics over the years, so like i said, anything is possible. it will probably come down to a game of how-do-i-make-this-fit for just about everything. for example, you will probably be on your own as far as mating the engine to a transaxle is concerned.
if you have the resources and the drive to see it all through, then i suppose you should go for it. however, if either of those things is lacking, then you'll probably be better served sticking to a 20V-, 3SGTE or 2ZZ- swap and calling it a day. |

Factory components arent making it past 200whp.
In all my swap considerations I'm looking for ~300whp. What exactly is the "S2" engine? I am familiar with the fc na/turbo engines, is the S2 an engine or chassis generation code? Are all fc engines S2? Googling revealed little result, not super sure what to google..... |

for an Rx8? the Rx8 is 2004-2008, usually called series 1, and 2009-2011, series 2. the late engine has a LOT of stuff that is different from the previous engines. its better, but also more complex |
