Acceleration problems
I have a 1993 rx-7, lightly modified, with nos, and sequential twin turbos, and my car has had no compression for the last two weeks, so I called a mechanic and he told me to pull out the spark plugs and the fuel relay, and crank it over until it builds compression. That worked, and my car is now running, unfortunately I now have a new problem. Every time I hit the gas, the car cuts out, and when I let off the gas, it runs fine. So all I can do is putt around at like 2000 rpm's. I checked all vaccuum lines, and one-way check valves, and still no luck. Can any body help me out?

The Cause of Death
Check TPS, plugs and wires, and intake system for restrictions. I'm not sure if the FD has an MAF, but if it does check the specs on that. Maybe coolant temp sensor, too. These aren't rotary specific, but they could all cause driveability problems.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I thought about the TPS because I know that when the car was built, we had to customize one for it, cause we put an aftermarket 89 mm. accufab throttlebody on it, but how would I check it?...as far as the fuel pressure, good idea I haddent thought of that, I'm gonna check that today.
