94 rx7 tt

i just got my rx7 so i dont know much about them

my dash lights r dimmed i cant turn them up

car also idles weird
and
i had the car rev up by it self i think it was cruise control gone bad

car also looks like its burning rich i use 93 octane

other then that car drives good really fast

Have you tried searching the 3rd Gen forum? Spend a little time reading and cause you will find that one person on every forum who will flame you for not searching first. Not hating on you just offering friendly advise.

If the idle is only at start-up that should be normal. At least when the engine temp is cold. Don't know about the dash lights, mine aren't very bright even when turned all the way up so with out seeing it in person it's hard for me to say. As for the running rich part.... is it mostly doing so at idle? What are your mods so someone can tell you whether or not it's related to them.

If you dont know your car and dont have a fsm I would try to get of a hold of ihor or rich and see if they can get your back to healthy. I would not keep boosting it till you have your issues resolved.
All these cars run rich its there nature more so with a stock ecu. I would bet its your TPS. A tune up may help your situation as well.

the car dosnt have that may mods... i did do a tune up cables and spark plugs...engin also has been rebuilt ...10,000 on it now also some low end work ...i do got full exhaust on it got alot of backfire...the hose that comes down to conect to the lil pip thats coming right of ehaust pipe is disconected.....

the idle is lil weird when car is warmed up and i tray to go wit it and i stop at the light and i am in "N" car moust of the time idles normal at 1100 some times litle higher up to 1500 comes back down...

i did have my throttle getting stuck

same situation i am at the light but car is in "D" now my rpm's go up and down to like 1300 then drops to about 900 and back and fort like that...and thats weird part...



if some one can just let me know how my rpm's should work.....thanks

idk as i sayed it my first RX fd3s i allways lowed them and finaly got one just wanna get it wher it needs to be and am happy...so any one know any thing about it just let me know

as for you dash lights being dim and not responding to the dimmer switch. Make sure you don't have any aftermarket gauge lights wired in wrong, that will screw up your dimmer function and possible blow the dimmer switch circuitry

ther is no aftermarket gauge lights...i think its blow dimmer switch...i need to look more in to it
