91' AFM problems

okay guys i live in this small island with no certified rotary tech.!
i was wondering if anyone would know the problem that we are encountering.

okay it's a S5 91' and the motor was gone and along with the harness and ecu!

so, we switched it out to a S4 motor, harness, and ecu.

our first attempt to start the car, there was no Fuel!!!and while the there was no fuel the AFm was clicking.

so we changed the fuel pump.
now that there's fuel, the AFm is not clicking.

the car sounds like it's going to start but it sounds like it's lacking something.we have changed out the AFM and the ECU
no burnt marks and there is no clicking.

the car would start after give or take a minute or two cranking and manually pushing the afm in and out.(matching with the throttle.

what could the problem?

thanks in advance!!!
