87 Turbo II idling and driving strange (searched)

I have an 87 Turbo II i got earlier this year that i have been working on. I just recently started driving her on a semi-regular basis. Before it was just around my block or down the street and back. I noticed the other day the she started to bog down like crazy after i took off from a red light. I had to shift into second then into third to get the rpm's to come back up.

After this happened i started paying more attention to how she was driving and started noticing a lot more than the bogging. If i rev at idle at random rpm's she sputters and feels very sluggish. Also I'm using a but load of gas. still need to figure the mpg. (started noticing build up on exhaust tips) And after driving my wife's scion xA i realized how slow she seemed in comparison.

When i bought the car the previous owner had a bunch of stuff tore apart and i had to get her put back together. It had a compression test done at bonsai racing like 5k ago and came back 85 on all 6 faces. (have the paper work) She has the emissions, and a/c removed. Full racing beat exhaust. cone filter intake. Freshly cleaned stock 550 injectors.

I'm not real sure where to start. I searched and couldn't seem to find anyone with the same problems. One or two but not all at the same time. Or maybe this is more that just one problem?

Any help from the rotor gods would be appreciated!!!!

U may have a bad apex seal. Our it could be bad fuel injectors even though u said they where clean.but if compression is good it wouldn't be apex seal. Maybe trash in gas lines?

It could be. I know the car sat for a while but like I said it uses a lot of gas. Could the tps cause this. Ive never had to adjust one so im not positive if these symptoms would be related.

Could be the TPS but it could also be a fuel issue or clogged cat or Boost Sensor or clogged primary injectors and so on.

I hope this thread gets bumped.
85 psi compression should still make the car take off like a scared rabbit.
Satch is right, something is up...(and the way it is on these engines,it could be minor,But it causes a big inconvenience.)

I replaced the fuel filter and while I was down there noticed that my leading and trailing wires were reversed! FACEPALM! Runs like a top now! Just still not the greatest mileage tho. Maybe need to check the o2 sensor?
