If all the cable connections are clean and tight, it may be the cables themselves. Many of the positive cables are aluminum and tend to corrode internally under the sheathing. Fwiw, the positive cable connects to the outboard lug on the back of the starter, the negative cable connects to the strut tower, then carries on to the bolt that goes through the starter and the rear iron of the engine.
