Need help as I'm losing hope car has aftermarket rad aluminum 3 row that came with the car since purchase I have deleted the fan and added a efan from a Lincoln v8 and full exhaust rb header to a 2.5 inch straight pipe to a one chamber muffler has coolant only changed the thermostat thinking it wasn't open to a 170 to make it run cooler still hot though found a few vacuum leaks that I fixed and richn the carb a little so it wouldn't b to lean on my fan I covered the space between it and the radiator now while idle its under half once driving its running about 2/3 hot then when I come to a stop it goes back under half..... ????? Any help? All is help is appreciated... I did search the forum but came up empty

 

do you have your efan hooked up to run constant?

Not what i asked, is it a on/off switch or a temperature switch?

 

On/off switch

 

And are you running it all the time? Or when your driving slow? Or do you have it turned on all the time while driving
