84 gslse firing on 1 rotor???

Went and started car and it barely came to life. Sounded like a lawn mower. Drove it a block and decided to go back and park it. Ran fine (awesome) day before. I then checked the oil level with the dipstick and it was halfway between e and f. Then i saw the oil filter was leaking and that it was not because i didnt tighten it enough. There was then oil below the dipstick and the tube where you put oil in at the on the side of the block. anyway im thinking and hoping the problem is electrical and one of the rotors is not getting spark. im gonna replace the coils and the spark plugs , points, rotors, condensor. anyway does anyone have advice as to the engine only firing on one rotor (at least what i think is happening) and if it might not be an electrical problem (maybe something that leads to a rebuild)? thanks

Seems to be a lot of this going around today. Check for spark on the leading plugs. You don't have points, just cap/rotor. Use NGK plugs. Check your plug wires for cracks etc. Although it does worry me that you seem to have oil being pushed out of the engine like that. If that is really happening, then it might not be good news for you...
