3rd gen wont start...

I have a 94 fd. Yesterday when driving the car, the car was at a loss of power in normal driving.

Now, when trying to start, after serveral attempts, the car will turn on, sputter for a few seconds and then shut off.

At first I thought it was an electrical or power problem, but i checked the fuses and replaced the battery, but still the same problem.

When it does come around to starting, the car will take a little bit of gas if you rev a little, then it will die out right away. Im not sure if this is possibly a hose problem or possibly an apex/coolant seal.

Any ideas?

step one is to see if the map sensor is plugged it.
its on the firewall close to the oil filter, little box that says n3a1-18-211 on it, make sure the vacuum line is plugged in.

step two, is the check for codes in the ecu

step 3 would be a compression test

see if the fuel pump is working. The wires to it corrode and the car will do as you say.
