3mm APEX seals

If i were to rebuild a n/a 13b engine with 3mm apex seals. How long do u think that engine would last. It has been rebuilt once and has 41,000 miles on it (already needs a rebuild).
Thanks

What makes you think 3mm apex seals are going to have anything to do with it?

why does it already need a rebuild? any ideas?
3mm wont help. i've never even heard of 3mms being in an n/a engine (post older rotaries).

3mm seals require a lot of milling.

well, it has been rebuilt once and now i believe i blew a coolant seal. So i was wondering if larger seals would give it longer life.

No. The apex seals will not prevent a coolant seal failure or hinder that.

And for an N/A I would only use 2mm. The 3mm seals on an NA make the engine feel sluggish in the free revs. (Just slightly, very hard to tell unless you have multiple cars and engines to compare)

3mm seals are used so that the engine is more rezillant to detonation and mostly for cars with boost. But many builders will push people to install 3mm seals because your rotors are badly out of tolerance and this is the only way to fit a seal in.
