1994 JDM Rx7 Limp Mode Help
Hello Everyone,
I've been having an issue the past year with my 1994 RHD Rx7 going into limp mode. I found some ripped-up paper (from the glove box) and assume the car had a rat in it at some point. When the car sits, I unplug the battery until I drive it again. The car will drive fine every time right after I connect the battery, but after I turn the car off and back on, it will go into limp mode.
I have attached an LED and the jumper to get the engine codes today. Please see the codes below:
-32 Secondary Air Switching Valve - open or short circuit
-50 Solenoid Valve, Double Throttle Control - open or short circuit
-46 Solenoid Valve, Charge Relief - open or short circuit
-44 Solenoid Valve, Turbo Control - open or short circuit
Seeing these codes, I am assuming I have a wiring issue (maybe a ground?), but not sure where to start to look.
Has anyone had this issue before, or have any advice?
Thank you in advance!

I had very similar issues with my 2000 jdm going into limp mode and similar fault codes.
I was able to narrow it down to faulty solenoids by testing the resistance. In the end i replaced the whole lot of solenoids and haven't had an issue since.

With all those solenoids faltering, likely others will follow.
Digging in to just replace those few, may result in collateral damage to the rest of your rats nest.
Budget about $2000 to replace all the solenoids and vacuum hoses.
Spring for factory vacuum hoses if you can afford.
They are shaped properly and make assembly more intuitive.
With an aged-out engine bay, it is very difficult to stick with an original stock sequential set up.
You might want to look into simplification of the engine/emsiisions management with an aftermarket ECU.
Consider that your stock ECU has 32 year old motherboards inside it.
