I have a 1988 GXL with the 5 lug set up. Does it have the 13B and how can I check?

 

all fc's have 13B's (unless moded). fd's do as well, so does the rx-8. it actually says right on top of one of the housings "case" 13B.

 

I seriously hope your kidding, but most likely you are not.

Step 1- Pull latch to open hood
Step 2- Raise the hood and set it up on the rod
Step 3- Look around the engine bay to see if theres any numbers other then 13
Step 4- Find your upper intake manifold and get a dictionary to check and see what fuel injection means
Step 5- Look at the numbers and letter (13b) if it says that then yes you have a 13b!!!
Step 6- Dont ever post a dumbass thread if any fc has a 13b, because thats all they came with stock
Step 7- Thank you for wasting my time and have a nice day

 

Smart ***, who said you need to post? Save yourself some time and dont write a story on a yes or no thread.

 

Not to add to the flame war, but I believe the moral of any forum is to RTFM! In this case if you go to faq for FC in the 2nd generation forum (link https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/frequently-asked-questions-2nd-generation-rx-7-faq-fc-494667/ ) you can easily find out that a 13b is in your car.

You talk about saving time, but topics like this waste everyone's time

(sorry for the hate but I mean seriously, you should know what kind of engine your car has, and that doesn't even apply to only RX-7's, that applies to every car that you own.)
