is your tach working? if the ignitor for the trailing plugs is bad your tach and fuel pump won't work.

Just replaced lead and trail, still no tack, fuel, or spark.

check for voltage @ trailing & leading coils (+) terminal. If none, then start the search party. If you need to move the car, a quick fix is to run a wire from battery (+) to each coils (+). And morethan likely, engine is flooded by now.

I meant to say box mounted in the driver side strut tower near the coils. the 2 igniters are inside and they are a lil bit longer than the 81-85 igniters

check for voltage first @ coil. if there is, then ground the spark plug wires to check for spark. no spark, bad igniter possibly.

is the rotor under the distributor cap? clogged fuel line? test all fuses. don't just look at the fuses test them with a multimeter. fusible links too. to test fuel pump run a line from the battery directly to the fuel pump see if gas comes out the fuel hose near the carb. in a completely pitch dark area with all lights off open the hood and try to start the car and look for an arc of electricity from a wire to the body of the car. it you see an arc it means you have a short in the system.
