13b-re water pump sender

I have a 13b-re in my fc running on a Haltech ECU. I am installing an electric fan and I was thinking to use the the sender in the water pump housing (it is not used) as a switch to activate the fan. Possible ? Do you know at a temperature it activates ? Thanks !

My tuner guy used a Pwm(?) output..something like that to activate a relay that goes to the fan.As soon as the car hits 185F it turns the fan on.
If you Hit up the Haltech section you may get some good info there.
