Smile 12a Extendport horsepower?

Hey guys,

I've got a Series 2 Rx7, with a 12a extend port.. it's been dyno'd at 106hp @wheels with a fairly standard 2 1/2inch exhaust and a stock 4 barrel carby with mechanical secondarys. I'm not quite ready to go 13b BP just yet and are trying to get more power..

I already have a 51mil Weber which my mechanic will be fitting rejeted with an adapter plate (overkill of course, but since I've got it sitting around might as well use it). I'm getting the 2 1/2 inch exhaust re-done (don't know the specs) but should be very loud and free flowing..

Q1) any idea how much horsepower I'd get @wheels after these mods?
Q2) any other suggestions to improve power?

cya

Here we call them street ports. If you're not running headers, you're losing about 30 hp between that and the stock carb. With 48 mm venturi and a good tune, you should be close to 140-150, depending on the porting.
