i've seen this on many people's mod list.... what exactly is it?

Turbo Inlet Duct

The stock pipe that goes between the AFM and the turbo is pretty convoluted, so putting in something that provides a shorter/straighter path helps.

I used some 3" aluminum tubing and now the distance is only about 8" and only has one 42 degree bend in it.

The new TID, cone filter and heat barrier made a noticeable difference in throttle response and boost.
