This is sort of strange... the Carb should sit on the LIM already and it should be a racing beat LIM like this one here:

In which case you would not need any more LIM's. That manifold bolts directly to the engine. Do you have a picture of your setup? From what you described I am a little confused.

Oh crap i should have specified more. I have a Weber 45 Dcoe ( sidedraft) carb with a racing beat upper manifold trying to connect to a tii lower intake manifold ( so i can put the turob in without a spacer).

The problem is the bolt spacing is bigger on my upper than my lower.

Here is my carb and upper.

i would think you need the r.b. lowwer na intake and then get a 6port na to a 4 port adapter plate so it would be like this...block(4 port), 4 port block(adapter plate)6port manifold. r.b. 6 port lowwer man., r.b. webber upper man. carb. and i dont think a 45 dcoe will feed a t2 motor to well id get a holly

There is a difference between the 74-85 & 86-92 manifolds ( http://www.mazdatrix.com/r-weber.htm )

Are you rtying to mate a 74-85 manifold to a S4 LIM?

Well its a gslse nontrubo motor that is getting a s4 turbo put on it. And eddierotary is running a 45dcoe on his setup which is very similar to this.

You are correct about the manifold difference.

I am trying to put a racing beat 74-85 manifold on a s4 tii lower manifold.

Well the issue was that i was trying to put a 86-92 manifold on a 85 and older lower intake manifold. SO thanks to DVCN (local RX7 guy) i got ahold of the correct manifold.

Once i got it home i compared it to the s4 tii lower intake mani i have. There are some differences. First off all 5 bolt holes will have to be machined for it to fit.

Just figured there would be some people interested in this.
