okay where to start. . .

I'm going to run pre-mix and I'm plugging off the oil metering injectors. I've got the ones of the LIM off and not I'm trying to get the other two off the housings. I know the size is a 14mm open-ended wrench. Problem is that none of the wrenches I've tried are thin enough to grasp them. Does anyone know any other way to get them off???? If you do, LET ME KNOW PLEASE!!

 

They make wrenches that are angled for that type of space, not to sure who sells them

 

Vice grip pliers.....your best and probably only bet I know of. I sat forever trying to figure out why the wrench (14mm) would fit on the manifold pair of injectors but not the ones on the housing...just get a pair of vice grip pliers...place them on there securely (not to tight though, the round part you latch on to can be bent and crushed, I've done it) then just twist it off. Worked for me everytime!!

I got a generic wrench I had laying around and grinded it down on both faces. Fit like a glove afterwards.

 

Thanks everyone, I think I'll give the vice grips a try. Then I'll try the grinding of one of my wrenchs.

Oh yeah, what was the measurements of the bolts you guys used to plug up those holes on the manifold and the housings?

And how much premix do you guys on every fill up? Brand?

128:1 ratio.....or 1 ounce per gallon...on a complete fill up, its fine to jus' put it 1/2 a quart...I reccomend vavloine 2 stroke oil.

 

Redline or Purple Royal is the best. More expensive though.

 

okay last question. . . . I bought the RB Dual Alternator pulley, but now have changed my stock alternator to the FD one.

Do i drill out the RB pulley to fit the fd alternator, or will the stock FD alternator pulley be okay?
(I don't have air pump, air conditioning, but I do have the powersteering and the RB Underdrive main pulley)
