Anyone know what the color code is for this color?

 

OMG! That is like my all-time favorite car. I believe thats the stock FD silver but not sure. Might wanna check in the 3rd gen section.

 

The owner of that car post here. There is a thread in this forum called Silver FD with CF hoods or something, his car is in it.

 

Actually, I posted that pic and, even though I did have a silver FD, that one is/was not mine. I *think* I found it on this forum right about the time the Volk GTC's came out - and I don't think the owner was the one who posted it then either.

... and that does look exactly like my (old) silverstone metallic FD on a cloudy day.

are you sure it isn't stock! because that's like the exact same color as mine! unless it's a shade of due to the picture lighting or something!

 

keep in mind that the picture was taken on a cloudy day - so it's reflecting white clouds.

It is almost definitely the stock silver - there's a hint of brown in it (something I never liked about the Mazda silver). There's another guy on the forum (Silver93T) who painted his car Porsche Artic Silver - might be more what you're looking for:

OK, so where could I find the code for Porsche Artic Silver ? Could I just take it to a body shop and ask them to paint it Porche Arctic Silver, and they would be the ones to find the code for it?

 

ICE Pilot: Those two cars are completely different. diff nose, diff side skirts, diff wheels, diff front license plate. Other than that, yeah, they're both silver. hehe

rybrx7: yeah, '99 spec - It looks like the Mazda one too (as opposed to a "knockoff") because of that crappy license plate holder.

disturbd: I'm almost positive that a body shop can look up "Porsche Artic Silver." Why don't you call one up and ask them?
If nothing else, try PM'ing Silver93T and ask him how he asked for it.

 

That's what I'm saying... The former has the 99spec front end with matching lip, the latter has 93-95 front end with matching lip.
