got car back from body shop

Picked the car up tonight finally after almost two months. Looks great. The work was done by Noc Automotive Solutions in Bellville, NJ. I highly recomend them. I took some pics in the shop and then a couple after I washed it. Let me know what you guys think. I'll have more pics soon.

Looking good, I have to say the '99 spec front end is the best body upgrade for fd's.

The color is Porsche artic silver with a little blue pearl flake added. The front end is an oem 99 bumper that I had modded to eliminate the licence plate holder. It took alot of hacking, cutting, and sanding and filling, but the end result is almost perfect. The wing is also an oem 99 piece.

Wow, that pic looks really good. You need to put more than one pic for us. Also, I'm sure everyone wants to know how much did everything cost you?

The '99 sans plate holder is by far my favorite front end, and it's not fiberglass to boot! I really like the way the chin spoiler looks painted too. Looks really good.

I want to see the following chin spoiler painted and on a plateless 99. It's very close to stock, just rises a bit in the middle. It's c/f and made by re amemiya:

Oh, and let's see some more pictures!!

According to Mazda the wing is functional. I used to have a website bookmarked that told the exact numbers but I lost it. Haven't really done any high speed runs with the wing yet. Here's another shot.

I'd say I got a pretty good deal. One of my friends knows the owner of the shop pretty well so I got a discount. Original estimate was about $2500 for full repaint and installation of the front end and wing. It turned out to cost a bit more than that because modding the bumper took longer than expected. I also had the windshield replaced(it was out anyway to fix some rust and a bad molding and had chips) had to replace the side vents cause they cracked on removal, and I also decided to have the rear wiper, squirter, and antena removed and have the holes filled. So the total was about a grand more than the original estimate, but I think it was well worth it. Lifetime warranty on the paint too. This was much cheeper than other quotes I got. If anyone needs to have paint or bodywork, I highly recomend Noc Automotive Solutions in Bellville NJ. Pm me if you want their phone #.

The 99' front is classy looking. The new f- lamps, are they alot better on the road at night?

I doubt the lamps help much more, they are really marker lights. I'm going to swap in some better bulbs though.

I LOVE your silver FD (and mine). Silver has got to be the best FD color!

That 99spec bumper looks awesome!
