I got this pic from a thread over at nopistons.com and thought I would bring it back hear for discussion.

I personaly think the U.S. version is a better design.

From what I've been told (I got shown a similar pic the other day) their 5/6th port casting is smoothed out. I say theirs is better stock, but ours is better w/ some pineapples.
Why do they have to make so many versions of the samething!!! I kind of like the look of the EURO one. Don't have the long sleeves to get stuck and don't have to line up the little rods when putting the intake manifold on.

I like theirs better personally. Just becuase you could port the hell out the block and not worry about the sleeves fittin, and the sleeves seem some what of a slight restriction, where-as you can probably get slimmer butterflies and rod and port that bitch out too. I dunno, i like it better for some reason.

actually i would bet the diaphrams on the espec actualtors go bad, just like shutter valves on a 12a.
also notice how far behind europe was in the emissions technology in 1986? they caught up and in many ways are ahead now though

if u guys would have any questions about US vs Euro FC difference's don`t hesitate to contact me, i have lots of FC with both US and Euro parts and i`m finding more and more differences.....
right now i found that rear camber links (short solid ones, 2 total on rear subframe) are in 2 versions....overall lenght is same, but US links are better build and have replaceable spherical bearings (im using them to make adjustable ones for my car right now) and European ones are not repaireable, cheaper made and easier to worn out (that spherical bearings does have one side plastic and u can`t press it out without damaging it.....)
